Halton People into Jobs

‘Halton People into Jobs’’ aim is to establish a set of measures to make a major contribution to achieving significant change to the employment culture within the local area. Actions will include:

• The establishment of a ‘Halton Charter’ for employers and potential employees
• The establishment of a Halton Employers’ Forum
• The establishment of a Schools Adoption Programme
• Training for Employment

Community Enterprise and Initiatives

‘Community Enterprise and Initiatives’’ aim is to create and develop community enterprises, co-operatives and community managed projects. Initiatives will include:

• Business Planning
• Funding Programmes
• Co-operatives
• Planning for Real
• Influencing the decision makers

Community Safety

This project aims to establish partnerships across the SRB area between local agencies, local businesses and community groups, to promote community safety by:

• The establishment of a Community Safety Forum
• Safety Awareness raising
• The development of safety initiatives
• Making safer places to live and work
